JIL SANDER

For Jil Sander, we embarked on a visionary photography project capturing the essence of the brand's fragrances through a macro lens. The objective was to artistically represent the plant-based components and intricate materials used in Jil Sander's perfumes, providing a visual exploration of fragrance notes at a macro level.

Creative approach.

The project was led by David Marguet, a Swiss photographer based in Paris known for his aesthetic, refined, and delicate approach to still life. With a rich background in high fashion, luxury jewelry, and watchmaking, David brought a unique perspective to capturing the essence of Jil Sander's fragrances. His rigorous control over light and color helped to vividly portray the textures and elements that make up the scents.

The focus was on creating highly detailed macro imagery that delves deep into the substance of the fragrances. Each photograph aimed to evoke the unique qualities of the ingredients, turning the microscopic into something grand and tangible. The team used sophisticated lighting techniques to enhance the visual impact, playing with shadows and illumination to reveal the depth and richness of the fragrances.

Results.

The Jil Sander fragrance photography project stands as a testament to the power of visual storytelling in luxury branding. By merging meticulous detail with creative photography, the project delivered a fresh perspective on fragrance representation, solidifying the brand's image in the minds of consumers as not only a scent but a synthesis of art and science.
